Weekend Update…
October 20th, 2006 by Kevin
- Finally out of the hospital
- Thoroughly exhausted
- Hospital pillows are filled with cardboard or possibly rat bones
- Am going to sleep for three days and tend to punctured arms, which now have 347 holes and look like Canadian sunrises because NOBODY can put an IV in these arms or hands
- Doctors still suck
- So much for October being free of medical bullshit
- Good news to come, but right now I’m just too fucking tired
- Apologies
- Goodnight

Hospital? Shit, woman, you are not having a good October. I’ll be passing through the South Side sometime this weekend (officiating at the brother’s wedding, eeeee) so I’ll send out general “Feel better/heal arms/get free beer” vibes your way.

Welcome back! I’m glad you’ve got some good news and can’t wait to hear! In the meantime, take care and go get some sleep!

Now we all want to see a picture of you in one of the famous “open back” hopsital gowns. Just to put us all in a cheeky mood. Welcome home.

embarassed to admit. got up yesterday, stumbled directly to coffee maker, took first cup, first coherent thought of the day was “wonder how jen’s doing?”, then “that was a weird first thought!”. thanks for the update, hope you’re sleeping well.

I’m glad you’re home! To heck with no medical info, please fill us in after you’ve had a good night’s sleep and half a bottle of pain killers, k?

Yay, you updated! I know I’m not the only one who was beginning to wonder what was up, and hoping it was nothing bad. Good news to come? Good….can’t wait to hear about it. Do we have to wait until November, though?

Hospital pillows are filled with cardboard or possibly rat bones? That’s good to know right before I’m going to be admitted for five days of IV Therapy! Hope you’re feeling better!
