Weekend Updatery.

Since I have been off of most of the Topamax, I feel like a new woman. I’m not half as tired, and although I still get dizzy a lot, I haven’t passed out in about a week. Apparently the cardiologist was on the right track.
Color me thrilled. Hopefully soon my head will only have distant memories of colliding with hard surfaces, and it appears that I will not need a pacemaker. Excellent!

I also had a fantastic weekend - I spent some quality time with Bullshit on Saturday, and yesterday my family and I celebrated my stepdad’s birthday, and I got to see my stepsister and her gorgeous kids.
If this shit keeps up, I’m going to to have absolutely nothing to complain about, and I’m going to have to close down this blog.
Then I’m going to start singing Julie Andrews songs all the time while little cartoon birdies float around my head, and I’m going to start wearing ballet slippers and cute little frocks instead of jeans and Doc Martens, and hell, maybe I’ll join the fucking Scientologists and head downtown to Oprah’s studio where I can go jump up and down on a couch and talk about how fucking fabulous life is; and then I’m going to have no friends, because everyone will be sick to death of my cheesy, happy-crappy, ridiculous, foo-foo, la-dee-da, stupid, hippie-ass attitude; and I’ll eventually die alone under some old newspapers on Lower Wacker Drive, babbling to myself about raindrops on fucking roses and whiskers on kittens - starving to death because no passers-by will give me so much as a thin dime, assuming from my attitude that I am smoking the crack.
Do you see how dangerous this all is?
I hope so.

Well, I know you’ll continue to find things to complain about, as I do, but hopefully the things themselves will be more and more trivial and less important than all the things you have to be happy about.
