Light My Fire, Damn It.

November 22nd, 2006 by Kevin

You know that brand-new furnace I just paid an exorbitant amount of money for last month?

It’s not fucking working.

I am currently bundled into two pairs of Old Navy flannel pajama pants and two Notre Dame sweatshirts, shivering in my chair in spite of the space heater and cursing the damned furnace makers and all of their affiliates, mothers, and salespeople.

I mean, one fucking month?

Give me a break.

that really sucks. I am cold in miami right now - cant imagine chicago - would you people please stop sending your north west winds our way - makes it colder than it should be, but then i get to go out in my PJ’s w/ a slick blue cordory trench coat and look almost put together. But i will be in your town for Xmas and really freeze my ass for good! Hope to see you, but understand that things are CRAZZZY during the holidays. I am poor, so am baking cookies, if we meet, you want some? Yes, I am not above bribing :)
Oh yeah, your heater should have a warranty right? Good luck w/ the warmth or lack of situation

The good news is it’s probably not broke. The bad news is it probably was installed incorrectly. Either way, the mopes have to come back asap. You and the family should huddle together for warmth. And sing “Kumbayaa”. And tell each other what you like about the other. See, it’s not so bad.
