The Pharmaceutical Industry Can Bite Me.

I have reason to believe that the one Heartfuck medication that has actually been effective is aggravating my Fuckbrain, giving me daily migraines and terribly blurred vision and wearing me right the hell out, even though I should by all rights be sort of amped-up and hyper. These pills are like speed, but I am not speedy. I am crappy and slow and slouchy and icky.
Given the fact that my vision is already pretty fucking blurry, I can’t really afford to have any more blurriness. Nor can I stand these migraines on a daily basis. I’ve lost seven pounds this week, and much of that is due to migraine-induced puking.
This is not the way I prefer to slim down.
Right now I’m typing in a 16-point font thanks to my tricked-out computer and it looks like a grey sloppy mess.
It must be the pills. It had better be the pills. That, or I’m having one ugly spell of Fuckbrain that is most definitely going to go untreated. My current neurologist has pretty much thrown up his hands and given up, content to go back to his MS and epilepsy patients. They may be as fucked up (or often, far more fucked up) than I am, but at least he can smile at them and prescribe medication and know that it will most likely help.
With me, it’s who the fuck knows, I don’t treat that, I don’t know, give her some more pills, tell her to come back in six months, hope that she gets fed up, just pass her along to the next doctor, tell her to go to ______ Hospital, they probably know what to do with her.
I am aggravated.
I am aggravated because I can’t read the paper, and because I am going to have to spend another day on the couch in front of the idiot box because I really don’t have the energy or inclination to do anything else.
I know far, far too much about television shows these days. I am fast becoming a fucking expert.

Hey Jen. You and I have a lot of the same types of issues. My heart goes out to you every time I read one of these types of entries. I don’t know how your insurance would handle it but I (after having my neurologist throw his hands up with defeat) was referred to a clinic in Ann Arbor, MI. They have just about every type of doctor there under the sun and will hospitalize you if necessary. The first time I was there most of the people there were from out of state - like 3 down or over. Their website is www.mhni.com. Might be worth a shot - they certainly would not give up on you.

Office: Dwight is back, Jim confessed that he still has feeling for Pam to whats-her-nuts, and everyone is totally sick of Andy, including me.
Grey’s: George had a fight with Callie, got drunk and slept with Izzie, Meredith had dinner with her dad, and Christina’s engagement is on the rocks due to the return of an old flame.
Idol: As far as the top ten, I am all for Melinda Doolittle and Chris Sleigh and what’s-her-nose from Naperville with the punky hair. Most of the boys suck. Compared to last year’s crop, this year’s kids seem weak.

Ooh! Grey’s sounds very daytime soapy. Still the hottest cast of ever. So I’ll keep watching. And I used to like Andy! I hope they calm that character down. As far as Idol, I haven’t seen any of the top 12 or whatever. But if we get stuck with another Taylor Hicks I will not be happy.
