Merry Christmas, Ouch, Here’s Your Bill.

I got up at 6:30 in the morning to go the doctor for my follow-up appointment, showered, dressed, got a ride from my neighbor, waited for a half an hour in the waiting room, waited for another twenty minutes in the inside waiting room, and then smiled when my doctor came in.
He looked at me, ripped off the Steri-strips that held my stitches in, examined the incision for two seconds, and said, “See you in a month.”
This cost approximately two hundred and fifty dollars.
If you’re reading this, go to medical school.
I hope that you all have very, very happy holidays. I’ll be visiting Bullshit’s parents after Christmas (and on my birthday, December 28th, that gloriously boring post-Christmas birthday which I think I am officially changing to June next year), so I probably won’t be around until the new year.
Enjoy yourselves big-time with great food, fabulous wine, and good friends. If you have a wonderful family, enjoy them, too. If not, drink enough of the aforementioned fabulous wine for it not to matter.
You guys are the best imaginary friends ever.

I’m so glad that you are finally on a heart monitor. Assholes should have had you on that YEARS ago. I do so hope that a pacemaker will solve all of your fainting/seizure problems. My poor sweetie.
I myself was just diagnosed with Prostate cancer and my doctor is afraid that it may also be in my lungs and bones…fuck.
Oh well…I wish us BOTH a wonderful holiday season. Be well Jen.
