Deals, Deals, Deals!

I’m finally starting to feel less high, which is decidedly good, since staring at walls is not exactly the most socially acceptable activity. I’m still pretty spacey, but not so much that I feel at one with Keith Richards.
I did go to the handbag party, scoring a pretty fucking sweet fake Dolce and Gabbana bag that is shiny and pretty and a gorgeous deep red color that I love. I also bought a pair of great big fake Coach sunglasses. So, color me faux. I am fake-tastic.
Personally, I would have bought the stuff even if it would have said, “WAL-MART, INC.” in big red letters. I’m pretty much a discount store queen. The only thing about designer labels that concerns me is the possibility of the stuff getting ripped off in my rather dubious neighborhood.
I also scored a coffee table. The hostess is getting rid of a pretty nice one and offered it to me for five dollars. All it needs is a little paint, so I couldn’t argue with that.
Leaving Bullshit’s house today we saw a cute little black iron bench sitting in the alley behind his apartment building. It was clean, relatively new, and only needed a screw to hold one of the legs together. Another score!
I feel like I’ve done well this weekend. Hopefully you have, too.

I’ve discovered a Good Will warehouse where they sell clothes for $1.00 a pound. A POUND. It’s like a crack den for me. I can quit whenever I want; I just don’t want to yet. I mean, a pair of Levi’s capri’s size 12, perfect condition? For like 25 cents? Ohh, my precious.
Congrats on your scores, especially the pain patches. Love them too. A little too much.
